Approval Of Agreement

Once a document has been reviewed and approved by the contract administrator, it must be submitted to the General Counsel for legal review. General Counsel is often not familiar with the purpose of the contract and has generally not been involved in negotiating the terms and conditions of the proposed contract. Therefore, when transmitting a contract document and contract transfer form to General Counsel, be sure to comply with any provisions for which you are unsure or which you may wish to modify or discuss. Also identify any conditions that the contract administrator or contract administrator has tried to negotiate without success.
